Qualified Person

Walker Cole International is partnering with a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in the South of the UK to appoint an experienced Qualified Person. This is a key position within the site's Quality function, responsible for QP certification and batch release activities, while also providing leadership and guidance to less experienced members of the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform QP certification and batch release activities in accordance with EU GMP, Annex 16, and applicable MHRA requirements.
• Provide cover and support to the Site Quality Head as Deputy when required.
• Lead and support internal and external audit activities across the site.
• Coordinate QP activities across the wider team, ensuring effective support for site production and operational requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or another relevant life science discipline.
• Eligibility to act as a Qualified Person (QP) in the UK and meet MHRA requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of EU GMP and Annex 16, with experience supporting inspections and maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities, alongside a commitment to quality and professional integrity.
