Supplier Quality (QA) Lead

Walker Cole International is searching for a Supplier Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join a global pharmaceutical company based in Scotland. As the Supplier Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you will manage the portfolio of vendors and suppliers, and support the wider quality team with the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities as the Supplier Quality Assurance (QA) Lead:

• Overarching maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) system.
• Line manage a small team.
• Managing the internal and supplier Audit Schedule.
• Performing Audits of vendors as a lead.
• Qualification of 3rd Party suppliers and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
• Risk Assessments of the third-party suppliers.

The successful Supplier Quality Assurance (QA) Lead will have:

• Significant Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
• Experience in a GMP environment.
• Experience leading internal and/or external audits.
