IT/OT Engineer Contractor

Walker Cole International is currently partnered with a global Pharma leader in Europe to support their continued growth and operational excellence across Europe. We are searching for an experienced IT & OT Engineer for an initial 6–9 month contract.

The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:

IT & OT Infrastructure Support
Provide hands-on support and maintenance for critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure within manufacturing and production environments, ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance.

Production Systems & Manufacturing Operations
Support production and manufacturing systems across multiple sites in France and Europe, troubleshooting complex technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime and maintain operational continuity.

Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance
Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices across IT and OT environments, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and supporting operations within highly regulated manufacturing settings.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and the successful delivery of critical support projects.

Contract details:

• Start date: ASAP
• 5 days per week
• Competitive daily/hourly rate (dependent on experience level)
• Duration of project: 6–9 months
• Location: Europe
• Language requirement: Fluent French and English required
