Quality Systems Manager

Walker Cole International is partnering with a specialist UK pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a QA Systems Manager. This role will act as the site owner for core quality systems, driving the design, performance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) that underpins a regulated GMP environment.

Your responsibilities as the QA Systems Manager will include:

• Owning the site's quality systems — deviations, CAPA, change control, and document control — ensuring they operate effectively and in line with GMP
• Driving continuous improvement of the QMS, identifying systemic trends and leading initiatives to strengthen compliance maturity
• Acting as system owner for the electronic QMS platform, managing configuration, workflows, and enhancements
• Generating and presenting quality metrics and trend analysis to site leadership to inform decision-making
• Leading inspection readiness and supporting GMP audits from a systems and documentation standpoint

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Strong GMP background in pharmaceutical or sterile manufacturing, with a systems-focused quality remit
• Proven experience owning or administering quality systems — deviations, CAPA, change control, document control
• Experience with electronic QMS platforms (e.g. TrackWise or equivalent), including configuration and reporting
• A track record of driving continuous improvement and compliance maturity across quality systems
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills, able to influence site strategy and stakeholders
