Head of Quality Assurance

Walker Cole International are searching for a Head of Quality to join a growing sterile Pharmaceutical business with on-site manufacturing capabilities. You will be ensuring GMP compliance as well as leading the Quality Assurance team on site. 

You will be responsible for:

• Driving an effective quality culture throughout the business via the development and improvement of the quality framework in place
• Ensuring all processes and systems adhere to GMP regulations, working alongside the QPs to do so
• Leading and coaching the Quality Assurance team to enhance both their performance and potential
• Leading on Operational QA activities such as deviation investigations, root cause analysis and batch release

The successful candidate must:

• Have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant business subject (Life Sciences degrees are desirable)
• Have extensive experience working with GMP regulations and guidelines issued by the MHRA on a manufacturing site
• Have a proven track record of leading and managing teams which includes setting goals and identifying areas of improvement
• Have previous experience working with sterile products in an aseptic environment
