Head of Quality

Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality to join a growing Pharmaceutical manufacturing companies based in the North of England.

As the Head of Quality for an established manufacturing site, you will lead the different QA teams ensuring GMP compliance.

As the Head of Quality you will be responsible for:

• Leadership and management of the Quality Assurance teams which includes training and development.
• Managing GMP strategy for the site, working closely with the senior leadership team.
• As the Head of Quality, you will lead health authority (FDA, EMA, MHRA) relationships and site visits. 
• Ensuring GMP compliance across the manufacturing site including audit scheduling and preparation.

The successful candidate for the Head of Quality must have:

• A pharmacy degree or equivalent in a related subject Life Sciences subject.
• Proven pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience.
• Track record of quality leadership in an established reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company
• Previous work experience at site leadership team level is essential
