Walker Cole International is supporting a leading consumer health and OTC business in the South East in the appointment of an Interim Responsible Person (RP) / GDP Quality Consultant.

This is a 3-month, fully on-site contract where you will act as the Responsible Person, providing GDP quality oversight while supporting, coaching and mentoring the Quality team. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, strengthening the QMS and ensuring inspection readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Responsible Person (RP) in line with UK GDP requirements.
• Provide GDP quality oversight across wholesale distribution activities.
• Coach, mentor and support the Quality team.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee deviations, CAPA, change control, complaints, recalls and supplier management.
• Ensure GDP compliance across warehousing, transportation and distribution.
• Support MHRA inspection readiness and regulatory audits.
• Review and update SOPs and quality documentation.
• Work cross-functionally to drive quality and continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Skills

• Eligible to act as a Responsible Person (RP) under a UK WDA.
• Strong GDP quality experience within consumer health or OTC.
• Experience supporting MHRA GDP inspections.
• Knowledge of QMS, CAPA, deviations and supplier management.
• Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fully on-site contract role.
