Head of Quality

Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality to join a Pharmaceutical business based in the Essex area. As the Head of Quality, you would be responsible for ensuring management of the business' manufacturing licenses and leadership of the QA function on site. 

You will be responsible for:

• Management of the Quality Assurance team on site, ensuring their compliance to GMP regulations and their constant training and development. 
• Supporting the Qualified Person with the batch release of their commercial products
• Ensuring the continuous improvement of the business' QMS and ERP system
• Interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to provide QA advice and ensure business compliance

You must have:

• A Life Sciences degree (or equivalent) 
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working within a GMP Pharmaceutical environment
• Significant managerial experience, leading and developing teams 
• A strong track record working with the MHRA, ideally in a MHRA facing role
