QA Operations Manager

Walker Cole International is partnering with a specialist UK pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a Quality Assurance Manager. This role will act as a key Quality lead for manufacturing operations, providing hands-on QA oversight, guidance, and decision-making support across a regulated GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities for a Quality Assurance Manager:

• Acting as the key Quality lead for manufacturing operations across the site, providing day-to-day QA oversight, guidance, and decision-making support
• Driving the investigation, escalation, and resolution of GMP deviations and quality incidents, ensuring robust root cause analysis and timely closure
• Owning CAPA management, including implementation, effectiveness checks, and ongoing monitoring of quality performance
• Overseeing batch release activities, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and maintaining product quality standards

A Quality Assurance Manager will have:

• Strong hands-on GMP experience within pharmaceutical or sterile manufacturing environments
• Proven experience managing deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and batch release processes
• Experience leading or supporting GMP audits and maintaining inspection readiness
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting
