QA Valiation Engineer

Walker Cole International is supporting an exciting opportunity within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in the appointment of a QA Validation Engineer.

This opportunity will play a key role in supporting the QA Engineering function, ensuring that all qualification and validation activities are delivered in line with regulatory and procedural requirements across the full system lifecycle.

The role will support a range of validation areas, including manufacturing, laboratory, facility, utility, and IT/automation systems, with a strong focus on maintaining compliance within a GMP-regulated environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and approve qualification and validation documentation, including SOPs, User Requirements, risk assessments, test plans, test scripts, change controls, and CAPAs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and quality standards, support engineering teams in the introduction and upgrade of systems and processes.
• Provide guidance on qualification and validation activities, ensuring cGMP compliance is maintained.
• Manage and follow up on deviations arising during validation and qualification execution and communicate status updates relating to quality, compliance, and project timelines to QA and cross-functional teams.

Required experience and skills:

• Experience within the pharmaceutical and/or chemical industry, with a focus on qualification and validation.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and industry guidelines.
• Ability to translate technical information for a range of stakeholders across the organisation.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to assess urgency, risk, and impact.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
