QPPV Consultant

Walker Cole International is supporting a UK-based life sciences firm in the appointment of an Interim QPPV. This consultant will have the responsibility in taking ownership of the client's pharmacovigilance (PV) system and support the build of an in-house, commercial PV infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the named QPPV with overall responsibility for the PV system
• Lead the development of an in-house, commercial PV system
• Maintain and oversee the PSMF and ensure inspection readiness
• Ensure compliance with GVP and EU/UK regulations
• Oversee safety reporting (ICSRs, PSURs, etc.)
• Lead signal detection and risk management
• Act as the main contact for regulatory authorities
• Provide oversight of PV vendors/CROs

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QPPV
• Strong knowledge of UK PV regulations
• Experience across clinical and/or commercial products
• Experience building or scaling PV systems is highly desirable

Working Pattern

Hybrid / remote - UK

Contract Length - 6 months

Rate - Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience, starting at £150 per hour
