Walker Cole International is searching for a Quality Director to join a Pharmaceutical business based in Scotland, manufacturing Biopharmaceutical and Sterile dosage forms. As the Quality Director, you will oversee and lead the quality function and play an active role on the site leadership team.
Your responsibilities as the Quality Director will be:
- Lead and manage all quality activities for a GMP manufacturing facility.
- Manage, develop and coach a team of Quality Assurance Managers and Qualified Person's (QP's)
- Play a figure head role in managing regulatory agency inspections from MHRA, FDA and EMA
- Develop cross functional team building initiatives with manufacturing and Quality Control (QC) for long-term cultural benefits.
- A key member of the site leadership team
The success candidate for the Quality Director position will demonstrate the following:
- Extensive pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience
- Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing site leadership experience within a UK based site
- Strong evidence of managing 1st and / or 2nd line quality managers
- Knowledge and understanding of Sterile/Aseptic or Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing processes.
- Eligibility as a Qualified Person would be beneficial.
