R&D Analytical Scientist

Walker Cole International is supporting a leading pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking an Analytical Scientist to join their Research and Development (R&D) department. This opportunity offers hands-on involvement in analytical development within a GMP-regulated environment, contributing to product quality, stability and regulatory compliance.

 

The responsibilities of the Analytical Scientist will be:

  • Develop, validate and transfer analytical methods (including dissolution) to support product release and stability testing in compliance with GMP/ GLP standards.
  • Conduct physical and chemical testing on formulations, assessing product quality, stability and shelf life, while maintaining accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including validation reports, specifications, SOPs, and regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot analytical challenges, implement method improvements, and contribute to improvement initiatives across R&D and QC teams.

 

The successful Analytical Scientist will have:

  • Degree (BSc/MSc) in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in using a range of analytical instruments and software for physical and chemical testing, with the ability to design, execute and document complex experiments independently.
