Walker Cole International is partnering with a medical device manufacturer near Cardiff to appoint a Demand Planner on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to extend. This position will play a key role in driving demand forecasting, global planning alignment, and supply continuity across regulated medical device products.

Key Responsibilities for the Demand Planner:

  • Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts across multiple product lines using historical data, market insight, and stakeholder inputs

  • Collaborate closely with US and Asia-based teams to align regional demand with global supply and manufacturing plans

  • Support and contribute to S&OP / IBP cycles, ensuring demand plans align with capacity, inventory, and business objectives

  • Analyse forecast accuracy, trends, and risks, driving continuous improvement in demand planning performance

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality teams within a regulated environment

The Demand Planner will have:

  • 8+ years’ experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or a closely related role

  • Proven experience working with international teams, particularly across US and Asia time zones

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP systems, planning tools, and advanced Excel

  • Background in manufacturing, ideally within medical devices, life sciences, or regulated industries

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and deliver data-driven insights
