Walker Cole International is supporting an exciting opportunity with a leading life sciences organisation based in Amsterdam in the appointment of a QMS Specialist.
This opportunity will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), with a focus on quality metrics, supplier quality, audit readiness, and continuous improvement within a GxP-regulated environment.
The role will involve cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, data integrity, and effective quality system performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect, analyse, and report quality metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to support global strategy, management reviews, and leadership decisions.
- Maintain and update quality system records to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Support the Supplier Quality Programme, including supplier assessments, certification tracking, quality agreements, and documentation management.
- Support internal and external audits and inspections, including document preparation, audit coordination, and follow-up on observations.
- Maintain and enhance QMS tools and systems, including databases, SharePoint sites, and tracking tools.
- Support product and site certification activities, including renewals, documentation, and coordination with external bodies.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations (e.g. Power BI, slide decks) for leadership review.
- Communicate with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to manage quality and compliance documentation.
Required experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years’ experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, or a GxP-regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, GMP, GxP) and audit practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with systems such as SharePoint, Power BI, SAP, or Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset.
