Walker Cole International is partnering with a leading UK pharmaceutical manufacturer to recruit a Senior Validation Officer into their on-site validation team. This permanent role offers a blend of hands-on technical delivery and team leadership within a GMP-compliant facility.

You’ll lead site-wide validation activities including process and cleaning validation, equipment qualification, and tech transfers. Working cross-functionally with QA, production, and engineering, you'll ensure compliance with MHRA and FDA standards.

Beyond technical delivery, you'll support junior team members, contribute to line management, and act as deputy to the Validation Manager - with the opportunity to shape internal systems and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Validation Officer:

• Lead validation projects from protocol to execution and reporting.

• Mentor junior staff and support validation governance across site functions.

• Manage risk assessments and ensure audit and regulatory readiness.

• Support new product introduction and tech transfer initiatives.

Essential Criteria for the Senior Validation Officer:

• Degree-qualified with relevant years experience in pharmaceutical GMP validation.

• Strong background in process and cleaning validation.

• Confident working cross-functionally and influencing site-wide improvements.

• Experience in audits, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions is highly valued.
